1. RYA Interactive Courses.
Anchor Training offer several online courses via RYA Interactive. Payment for these courses is required at the time of booking and is not refundable. Upon receipt of payment an individual account will be created for you to access the RYA Interactive learning platform. Login details will be emailed usually within 8 working hours of payment receipt.
All associated RYA student course packs are included in the course fee as are any relevant certificates, no additional documents or handbooks are provided by Anchor Training for these courses.
The courses can be worked through at your own pace but we usually recommend that they should take no longer than 6 months. Support for these courses will only be offered for 1 year from date of purchase.
2. RYA Classroom Courses.
We offer 3 RYA courses in the classroom at various venues throughout the UK. Payment for the courses is required at the time of booking and is not refundable. If you fail to attend your booked course or do not meet the required standard of assessment your course fee will be lost and you will need to attend another course.
Should we cancel the course for any reason an alternative date will be offered or a full refund given. We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient interest.
3. RYA Instructor Training.
Centres and organisations that have booked Instructor Training (including pre entry skills assessments, Instructor training and moderations) are not usually required to pay until after the course has taken place at which point an invoice will be raised. However, once booked payment is required unless the course is cancelled in writing with us 1 month prior to the course start date. If the course is cancelled within the month prior to the course start date the full course fee will remain payable.
4. RYA SRC Courses & Assessments.
Anchor Training offer the RYA SRC course both online via RYA Interactive and in the classroom. Payment for both courses is required at the time of booking, if you do not attend or complete the course your course fee will be lost. It is strongly recommended that customers wishing to take the interactive version should first complete the free taster (available on our SRC page) as this will check your computers compatibility with the course operating system.
The assessment for the SRC will be conducted under the regulations of the RYA and
by a separate examiner, this means we cannot guarantee your exam will take place
on the same day as your course -
